Anika Noni is a vocalist and actor American. She is best known for her vocalist of Tiana In The Princess and the Frog, the one and only African American Disney Princess. The Disney Company named her a Legend in 2011. Rose was in Lorrell Robinson in the Academy Award winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Rose was born on the 6th of September on the 6th of September, 1972. The actress is American actor and singer. Her most well-known role is voicing Tiana the first Disney African-American princess as seen in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legends named her as the 2011's most popular character. She's also well-known for her roles as Lorrell in Dreamgirls, an Academy Award winning film (2006) and LaVerne in Starz's Power. Apart from her acting work, she's known for the roles she was in the theatre. These include Emmie Thibodeaux in the Broadway version of Caroline or Change (2005) where the Tony Award Best Features Actress in a Musical was presented as well as Beneatha on the Broadway revival A Raisin in the Sun (2017) for which the Tony Award Best Features Actress in Play nominations were announced.
